That's so funny--3-28-72 also came to mind for me as a Bob show. But is that because he's playing well or because he happens to be up in the mix, or both?

It's funny you would point that out Lou because I noticed that 3 of my choices were commercial releases.Since they are usually well mixed you can hear Bob and Keith much better than your average show where oft times it can be a challenge.In looking through my notes it seems in the shows I picked that Bob and Keith actually had played well at those performances,but there is no denying that a well balanced mix might be influential in how you hear a particular players contribution.

Thanks for posting an interesting thread.I wish you had received more of a response,but this place isn't what it used to be.If by chance you aren't familiar with some of my rec's regardless of whether I was right or not there was some killer music played at those shows.
